Professional level recording and streaming is now possible from home thanks to Razer’s new “Seiren” Digital Microphone.
Razer, the world leader in connected devices for gamers, including mice, mouse pads, headphones, keyboards, etc, is now about to take the bull by the horns when it comes to the streaming explosion. Gaming streaming has becoming the next big thing thanks to sites like Twitch.
The Razer Seiren is a plug-and-play digital microphone capable of capturing four different recording pattern configurations with three custum tuned 14 mm condenser capsules. These specs make the microphone ideal for streamers, YouTubers, and professional musicians, who demand superior clarity.
The main control knob allows users to quickly switch between four different polar recording patterns (Cardioid, Stereo, Bidirectional, and Omnidirectional). The microphones built in headphones allow for zero latency, real time accurate monitoring of recordings to ensure that you’re getting exactly the sound you intend to.
Razer is also starting it’s “Razer Sponsored Streaming Program” to help aspiring content creators and streamers to take their recordings to the professional level. It will be divided up into 3 experience levels, each pertaining to a different level of sponsorship.
Earlier this year Razer launched the Leviathan, a gaming and music soundbar; and Adario, a series of headphones tuned for music and designed for comfort. The Seiren is the company’s latest audio product to go beyond pure gaming.
