Recently valued at $2 billion in its latest funding round, Instacart is teaming up with the widely used recipe-platform Yummly for a joint grocery delivery service. Yummly itself, is a booming recipe delivery platform with over 15 million active users.
This partnership will be beneficial to those on the Yummly iOS app where users can pick out recipes and get the food items delivered to them within an hour. At the press of a button, customers can have all the ingredients from a yummly recipe purchased and delivered within an hour.
The Instacart personal shopper will make sure your order from Yummly is given high priority in terms of service and delivery, it will gather your ingredients from a local store and send it right up to your doorstep.
