Apple has kept secret regarding details of the upcoming iPad Mini 2, but online whispers have suggested the product could be unveiled as close as next month – October 15th to be precise.

Images of what is thought to be the casing for the new iPad Mini 2 originally leaked online in February. And surprisingly, the product is not the usual monochrome effect, coming in a silver casing.
Of course, the change in shade is not too surprising now, following the brand’s decision to release its cheaper 5c Smartphone in a variety of colors, which is great news for style-conscious consumers.
In terms of specifications, it is thought the iPad Mini 2 could come with an Apple A6X processor and an eight-megapixel camera. Additional details regarding the product’s features have not yet been released.
The upcoming tablet’s retina display is rumoured to have a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels, which is double that of its predecessor. It is also set to have more pixels per inch (ppi) than the iPad 4′s 264 ppi.
