Startups.co launched this week and in one step became what it calls ‘the largest
startup launch platform’ by merging Launchrock.com, Bizplan.com,
Fundable.com, KillerStartups.com and Clarity.fm into a single
connected platform to support startup businesses from idea through to
funding and beyond.
Startups.co Founder and CEO Wil
Schroter commented, “The vision for Startups.co is to help startups
get customers, press, funding and mentors to overcome critical
obstacles in the launch of their company.”
As part of the launch, Startups.co has
partnered with General Assembly to stream a live discussion with
Peter Thiel, one of the Founders of Paypal and a well known
entrepreneur and venture capitalist to talk about how to build
companies that are doing something completely new rather than just
incrementally taking small steps over existing ideas. He will also
talk about building the future through startup ideas and cover some
of the concepts in his recent book, Zero to One: Notes on
Startups, or How to Build the Future.
The discussion is on Monday February
9th, 2015 at 7PM EST and will be streamed live for free.
