Ecommerce and retail merchants will be converging on Chicago this week for the Internet Retailer Conference & Exposition and RetailX shows, and Yahoo Small Business will have a major presence with two separate booths staffed by leaders from across the business, as well as key partners and developers.
This year marks the 21st year that Yahoo Small Business has been helping small businesses find customers and sell products online. During that time we’ve supported over $70 billion in transactions for our merchants, and have earned the reputation as the most reliable and customizable hosted ecommerce platform. These are just a few of the reasons that many of our
merchants have been with us over a decade – and some for our entire 21 years.
We’ll be sharing more reasons this year at our booths (#1752 and #2258), where we will be highlighting new products and features, as well as showcasing plans for what to expect in the next few months.
Booth 1752 will focus primarily on ecommerce and we will be joined by nine of our expert developers who will each have demonstration stations and will be meeting with merchants, providing free site evaluations and will be available to consult with ecommerce sellers looking to start or grow their businesses. Developers in the booth this year include: Your Store Wizards, Ventura Web Design & Marketing, 4Psite, Web Stores and More!, Nakamoa, Choose Your Company, All Web Promotion, YTimes, and Practical Data.
Meanwhile, in booth 2258 we will be focusing on the spectrum of products and services that Yahoo Small Business provides for both local and online businesses, including domains, business mail, web hosting, and directory listings management. Additionally, we will be demonstrating some new small business offerings, including website design and management services, and a new
point-of-sale solution.
We’ll also be hosting a merchant and partner appreciation party Wednesday evening – so if you haven’t gotten your invitation, contact your account manager or stop by one of our booths.
